Community @ Moso Moso in Manchester

I spent a weekend in Manchester and witnessed “Community”, an event held once a month for “the most diverse mix of peeps in the Mancunian community.”

Election Day

Emory Douglas

I went to this amazing exhibition last weekend in Manchester @ Urbis. They were showing the revolutionary art of Emory Douglas, the official artist of the Black Panther Party and its first and only Minister of Culture. His art is inspiring and a wake up call. He dedicated his work for all those working for social justice and liberation, for political prisoners around the world, and for those who gave their lives to the struggle.
